Dr. Jonathan Lee Hand Wrist and Upper Limb surgery will continue to open, to provide care for Urgent Orthopaedic Injuries and Emergencies, in our effort to support the Healthcare Services in Singapore during this difficult and challenging time.

We aim to provide support to our Emergency Departments, Hospitals and Primary care doctors as they focus on caring for those most affected by the COVID-19 outbreak - and to provide separate areas and specialised care for patients with urgent orthopaedic conditions.

We will defer all Elective and Non-urgent consultation and surgical treatments until after 4th May 2020.

Our Doctors and Staff are still rostered to be on duty to support you and provide Urgent orthopaedic Injuries and Emergencies services that include:

• Hand Trauma e.g. crush injures and amputations to the fingers hand wrist and upper limb, fractures and dislocations.

• Open wounds, injuries and lacerations, and deep tissue involvement of tendons nerves or arteries. Where early expedient management is crucial to minimising pain and preventing deformities and future disabilities.

• Hand Infections where early control and treatment is crucial to prevent spread and loss of healthy tissue

• Acute Numbness of the fingers, hand or upper limbs, with or without weakness.

As our Accident and Emergency departments may be heavily burdened during this period, we aim to help alleviate, you may choose to come directly to the clinic.

Our priority is to protect the health and well-being of our community, staff and patients, while still providing care to those who need it most. Our goal is to limit individual contact to only those clinical scenarios that require it until we can resume normal operations. We will assess these time frames daily and weekly as the situation evolves.
